Filming of “A Guerra da Beatriz” Completed
Filming has now completed on A Guerra da Beatriz (Beatriz’s War), a collaboration between FairTrade Films Australia and Dili Film Works. The films two directors Bety Reis and Luigi Aqcuisto are working closely with editor Nick Calpakdjian to complete a rough cut by the end of July. First Stage of Filming on “A Guerra da Beatriz” Completed
The first stage of filming for “A Guerra da Beatriz” was completed in mid-December. FairTrade Films and Dili Film Works are now raising funds for the second stage of filming that will start in March 2012. In the gallery are some images from the four weeks of shooting that took place in Ulmera, a coastal village outside Dili, and in the mountain sub-district of Maubisse.
